In this project I set out to face my fears, both physically and emotionally.
I will explore through photos, poems and journal entries that strive to explore thought provoking topics one might not be too comfortable exploring. This project is all about facing each topic full force and challenging myself to be honest and vulnerable.
I believe facing your fears head on, like looking in a mirror, seeing things for what is true not by what I have been made to believe is true. I believe this is the most honest and fulfilling way to find ones true path and be at peace and embrace this like.
Portraits of innocence

they say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
my lens is the medium to reach it
there are those souls
seen since the beginning of time as something to fear, unknown and uncomfortably still. In this Series, I explore darkness as the root of colorism and its negative connotation within society. This needs to change. Darkness is known, is full of life and movement and it is beautiful.
